Nice ca. 1880 flat top steamer or stage coach trunk with tray. 

It measures approximately 30-1/2” wide, 19” deep and 22-3/4” high.

There are no marks identifying a maker.

The exterior has all of its original parts intact and a caster is located at each corner on bottom for easy rolling around. The lock includes a key and is in working order. Both leather handles are in place and in good shape.

The interior and tray are lined in its original paper and the lid and tray both have nice color lithographs.

It is being sold as found . The canvas cloth covering shows minor wear from the age but overall in very good shape. There are no cracks to any of the wood strips. All of the hardware is present and in good shape. The canvas strips that hold the lid in place while open are present but both are broke and need to be replaced. It’s all original and has great character.
